We all know AI tools like ChatGPT can write text and even create images. But have you ever thought about using it to design custom awards for kids, tailored around their favorite toys, games, or characters?

I recently tried this with my son. He’s a huge Minecraft fan, so I created a Minecraft-themed certificate award to celebrate his learning achievements.

Here’s what it looked like:

As the “end user,” my son gave me the most honest feedback possible—pure excitement. He lit up when he saw it.

I realized his reaction wasn’t just because of the certificate itself, but because of the personal touches baked into it:

• Themed to his world: Instead of a generic “Certificate of Completion,” he received something like “Minecraft Master Builder Award.” That instantly connected with him.
• Celebrating specific wins: The award called out real achievements—like the number of math and science lessons completed. It wasn’t abstract; it was his hard work recognized.
• Made just for him: Kids feel truly seen when recognition comes in their favorite “language”—whether that’s Minecraft, LEGO, dinosaurs, or princesses.

Recognition that feels fun, magical, and personal turns what could be a boring piece of paper into a keepsake kids proudly hold onto. That’s the beauty of using AI. With a few tweaks, you can turn the award into whatever your child loves most. The possibilities are endless.
